My career started in a textile mill with my dad, who had been there his entire life. I loved working with dad, but hated being stuck in a factory day after day.

When an opportunity arose to learn a new trade working with wood, I knew right away that this was something I could enjoy. I saw that working with wood flooring is satisfying work. It has always amazed me how you can take an old, beat up floor and restore it to its original beauty (and then some).

24 years later...I'm still at it! If I have learned anything through the years, it is that customer satisfaction is paramount. I especially enjoy projects where my customers allow me to get creative and design something unique. I have never advertised much and I am pleased to say that the majority of my business is referral based. Because of this, every single project I put my hands on and attach my name to has to be top notch.

In addition to a high quality finished product, being honest with my customers throughout the entire working relationship is another key way I have been able to find success in a referral driven business. To achieve this, I strive for good communication throughout the entire 

project. This helps to set and maintain expectations. Sometimes I wonder how competitors can lack in all of these areas and remain in business!
